Hello, my name is Lydie G and I am an experienced home carer. I have been providing compassionate care to individuals in need for several years now. As a female carer, I have gained valuable experience in caring for clients with various conditions, including Mild Cognitive Impairment, Bedbound individuals, Parkinson's Disease, as well as helping individuals with Anxiety and Depression.
I offer both Live-in and Hourly care options, depending on the needs of my clients. While I do not drive and do not have a car, I excel at providing assistance with daily activities such as bathing, toileting, dressing, and even catheter care. Additionally, I provide much-needed companionship to those I care for, as I believe in fostering a sense of belonging and emotional support while assisting with physical needs.
When I am not providing care, I enjoy keeping myself active and engaged through activities such as walking, socializing, reading, listening to music, and participating in sports. I find that these hobbies help me maintain a healthy work-life balance, allowing me to bring positive energy and joy into the lives of those I care for.
I am also comfortable around pets and have preferences for cats, spiders, fish, rabbits, and birds. I have a caring and friendly personality, and I am always ready to lend a helping hand. The satisfaction I get from seeing my clients lead independent lives, despite their challenges, is what motivates me to be the best carer I can be.
